  • Information Overload….
By Robert Avila on January 27th, 2007 | No Comments Comments

This simple tip will save you hundreds of hours!

There is so much information available on Internet Marketing, Google Adwords, Google Adsense, writing e-Books, finding niche markets, increasing traffic…leaving your job and prospering with your own business…..that your head is probably spinning!

In between: designing websites, writing sales copy, studying analytics, editing my e- Book, listening to conference calls, and learning everything I possibly can from Internet Marketing experts I have always reflected upon….

How to become more efficient knowing what I now know?

Your time is valuable and we are all looking for better ways to accomplish as much as we can in the limited time that we have.

This one small shift will save you some valuable time.

    * Learn and do at the same time.

I have such an insane appetite like a monster to learn everything I can to increase profits and in doing so have read material only to forget most of it by the time I needed it! It’s like an addiction with new books and material stacked to the sky!

If you have time at the end of your day to read great. Just remember to apply what you have learned as soon as possible. When first starting out I hammered though thousands of pages of information. I kept trying to read and know it all so when I sat down at the computer I would be a genius and just blast through everything!

I kept finding myself familiar with a lot of things…but had to constantly read and re-read material to figure things out. It like doing double the work.

Step-by-step use it when you need it….Learn and do at the same time.

This applies to software too. I purchased software programs and started reading the manual like a lunatic.

I was way ahead of the game and didn’t even have a website up yet!

When it came time to install the software and set it up….I didn’t know all the details. I had to go back and re-read everything all over again.

Save yourself some time and work through everything step by step and apply what you learn immediately when the information is fresh.

You may think cramming information into your skull will save you time on the back end….however it will just slow you down.

The best way to learn is to Just do it!
