  • Sean Stephenson – Get Off Your Butt!
By Robert Avila on February 15th, 2010 | No Comments Comments

I recently had the opportunity to hear Sean Stephenson author of “Get Off Your Butt” about the importance of having a purpose in life and pursuing goals.

Sean covered quite a bit during his 90 minute talk and the point that hit home the most was “not to compare ourselves to others.” His point was that it leads to a losing situation, one where we will never be enough in our own eyes.

You can check Sean Stephenson out in this short video on “The Power of Imagination”

    Wish you the best!…. Robert

  • Increase Your Income from $5K/Month to $50K/Month
By Robert Avila on February 3rd, 2010 | No Comments Comments

A good friend of mine recently increased his income from $5,000 per month to over $50,000 per month!

My mind has been blown over the past year many times when I received phone calls like this – “Hey Robert …. Had another killer day today … Made about $___________ today!”

Multiple that above conversation several times (I must have received 20+ phone calls like this!) and fill in the blanks with…. $1,800 …. $8,000 …. $20,000+ etc!

One week his profit nearly exceeded $70,000!

Before I explain how he did it, it’s important I give you a little background to his story.

Only a few short years ago while working in business to business sales my friend (co-worker at the time) took me on a little “field trip” as he called it! We visited a friend of his that just purchased a sick Pearl Tangerine Orange Lamborghini Gallardo cash for about $160,000. This new owner of the Lambo was running a successful business with only a few employees and bringing in a few million per year in sales. This new addition was a new edition to many other cars in his collection.

My friend said that the purpose of the “field trip” was to stretch my vision of what’s possible!

Upon returning from that “field trip” … My friend told me how he would one day own a Lamborghini, pull it up just outside my office window, rev the engine and blow my windows out … shattering glass in my cubicle!

    When he said this…

    • He was serious.
    • He was passionate.
    • He was determined!

Well, just the other day … He pulled up to my office in his new Black Porsche Carrera S … Paid for Cash.

    The Power of Belief !

    The Power of Belief !

He had manifested the thoughts in his mind!

I said to him – “This is similar to what you had told me about showing up in the Lamborghini and blasting my windows out!”

He replied … “It’s only a matter of time!”

When I asked him how he did it, he said that it all came down to his Beliefs!

He has been devouring every piece of information he could get his hands on focused on creating wealth, goal setting and empowering beliefs.

He said that getting clear with his Intentions, Setting Goals and Visualizing what he wanted to achieve everyday was the key to his success. His strong beliefs eliminated all doubt and gave him a level of certainty in what he was going to make happen!

When he changed his beliefs … His income increased from $5,000 per month to averaging over $50,000 per month. One month I recall he exceeded about $130,000. This was accomplished with the same resources he had all along.

The only thing that changed was his Beliefs.

    He changed his Beliefs.

What will you have to believe to create your new reality?!

    Robert

PS. My friend actually passed on buying a Tangerine Orange Lamborghini Murcielago before picking up the Porsche. The price was right, however the opportunity cost was too high and that seed money will bring in much more income in 2010!

PSS. My friend is a stock trader and his income exceed $660,000 in about 9 months.

  • Shawn White – Red Bull Project X
By Robert Avila on February 1st, 2010 | No Comments Comments

The other day I was watching Red Bull’s Project X with Olympic Snowboarder Shawn White. He was up in Silverton, Colorado on a private run inventing new tricks! A huge foam pit was dragged up the mountain so that he could attempt his new extreme snowboarding tricks on a monster half pipe.

During the interviews mixed into the mind blowing footage of Shawn’s runs, he made some enlightening statements about his profession and being the best in the world.

Shawn talked about his feeling of confidence at the 2006 Winter Olympics before this run. He knew the outcome before his run and had a sense of certainty. This was the feeling he was attempting to duplicate in the 2010 Olympics. Shawn also talked about visualization … this word came up quite a bit when he described his sport.

The monster foam pit you’ll see in the video allows Shawn to take what he visualizes in his mind and practice it until he has mastered the trick.

This process is similar to your business. You visualize your approach, presentations or how you would like your website to look first. This is followed by rehearsing and practicing or testing various elements on your site until you have achieved a level of mastery.

Be sure to check out this awesome Shawn White Video!

Watching Shawn White dominate this killer half pipe is sure to inspire you with ideas on how you can Revolutionize Your Business!

    Enjoy! – Robert

  • “Snow Leopard” Olympic Skier – The Believer
By Robert Avila on January 27th, 2010 | No Comments Comments

Kwame “Snow Leopard” Nkrumah-Acheampong is the sole member of the Ghana Olympic Ski Team!

Here is a glimpse into his amazing journey….

Soon after his first time on skis, the young father of two was ripping down the 185-yard slope. “As I improved, one guy in particular kind of motivated me,” Nkrumah-Acheampong says. “He told me there was no way that I could qualify for an Olympic games. Well, I am a very competitive person, and I took that as a challenge. I wanted to make him eat his hat. Skiing was suddenly something I needed to master. That is what drives me.”

Nkrumah-Acheampong will need every last bit of that drive to compensate for the massive disparity between his experience and that of his Olympic competitors, most of whom have been skiing since they were toddlers. The Snow Leopard picked up the sport at an age when most competitive skiers are thinking about hanging up their boots. His progress was initially so rapid that he considered trying out for the 2006 winter games in Turin, Italy, 18 months after his first run. “Instead of Turin, I committed to 2010,” he says. “I don’t mind telling you, it’s been a long, hard journey.”

You can check out the rest of his story in: United Hemispheres Magazine

    Wish you the best!

    Robert
